Sokolic Flow

Sokolicki Stream - Strange Strait, connecting the Kamieński Lagoon with the Wrzosowska Bay, in northwestern Poland, in the Zachodniopomorskie Province. It separates the mainland (Trzebiatowska Coast) from the island of Wolin (more precisely the Peninsula of Międzywodzie). By the center of the Sokolicki flows the administrative boundary between the communes of Dziwnów and Kamień Pomorski (kamienski district). The minimum width of the strait is about 760 m.

On the south-east side of the strait there is Sokolice hill (3.7 m n.p.m.). The whole of the strait is covered by the area of special protection of birds "Kamieński and Dziwna Lagoon" and a special area of protection of habitats "Odra Estuary and Szczecin Lagoon".

Until 1945 the German name was Falkenberg Enge. The Polish name Sokolicki was officially established in 1950.
