Leonardo da Vinci drawings with memos made in mirror Two words written in mirror
Mirroring - An alphabetic entry in which the words are written from the right - from the right to the left - in such a way that reading the text requires a mirror.
The greatest creator and user of this type of writing is the Italian Renaissance artist and scientist, Leonardo da Vinci, who encapsulated the great part of his work. At first glance, polyglot notes seemed to be written in an unknown language. Only later did the researchers find a way of writing that was associated with the fact that the scientist was also left-handed (which favored "mirror" writing). Speaking of mirror text, medicine usually treats it as a disorder in the development of the child, while "backward" writing is often the usual consequence of left-handedness. As with writing with the right hand, the natural reflex is to guide it from left to right, so writing your left hand is easier to lead your hand from right to left. Not every left-handed person can use the mirror.
