Danuta Słomińska-Paprocka (born 1937 in Inowrocław) is an art historian, museumist, and regionalist.

A graduate of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Initially, she worked at the District Museum in Toruń, later at the Świętokrzyski Museum and the State Conservative Service in Kielce. Since 1968 head of the Kielce branch of the Museum of Folk Musical Instruments in Szydłowiec.

At that time, she was in charge of setting up the department to take over the position of its director in 1976 (one year after the opening of the museum as a stand-alone institution). This function was held until 1992.

In the years 1972-1989 she was the president of the Society of Land Fans of Szydłowiec. Author of several popular science books:

In recognition of his work he has been honored with the Silver Cross of Merit, the Badge of Merit for the Kielce Region, the Badge of Merit for the Radom Voivodship, the Badge of Merit for Culture, the Gold Badge for the care of the monuments and the title of Merit for the Szydłowiec district (2014). < / p> Bibliography
