Agnieszka Golińska


Frank Francis Frisch (born September 9, 1898, March 12, 1974) is an American baseball player who has played for 19 seasons in Major League Baseball.

Frisch studied at Fordham University, where he played in the Fordham Rams University from 1917 to 1919. June 14, 1919 signed a free agent contract with the New York Giants, where he made his debut three days later against the Chicago Cubs as a pinch hitter. In the 1921 season he stole most bases in the National League (49) and played in all of the World Series games, where Giants defeated the New York Yankees 5-3 (then played in the best-of-nine system). One year later the Giants won the championship title for the second time in a row after defeating the New York Yankees 4-0.

In December 1926, with Jimmy Ring, he was sent to St. Louis. Louis Cardinals for Rogers Hornsby. In 1931 he was selected MVP National League and won his third World Series in career, and two years later he played in the first match of the match. In 1937 he ended his career.

Later, he was a manager of St. Louis Cardinals (from 1933 to 1937 he was the manager of this team), the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Chicago Cubs. In 1947 he was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. He died on March 12, 1974 as a result of injuries he suffered in a car accident in Elkton, Maryland.
