Home by the Sea - a song from the British Genesis group. The song was on the album entitled Genesis, published in 1983. It is the first part of a dilemma, the second part of which is called Second Home by the Sea. The work is told by someone who has found himself in the title house by the sea, haunted by the ghosts that have been trapped in it. They say that he will become a prisoner of this amazing place for the rest of his life. The author of the text is Tony Banks.

The song was especially popular in the Far East due to the pentatonic scale typical of local music.
