Sishayi Nxumalo
Sishayi Simon Nxumalo (born 1936, died February 26, 2000) - a Swazilian politician, a temporary premier of Swaziland between May 8 and July 26, 1996.
In 1962 he was the founder of the Democratic Party, which he led until 1964, when he lost in the election. He then went to the monarchist National Movement Imbokodvo and began to hold positions in the government. In 1983 he became the finance minister, but on June 8, 1984, he lost his position as a result of accusations of corruption and planning a coup d'état. He was sent to prison, but he left it thanks to the amnesty of December 31, 1985. He served as deputy prime minister. After numerous strikes broke out in the country, King Mswati III dismissed former Prime Minister Jameson Mbilini Dlamini, and Nxumalo temporarily took over his duties for three months, against strikes and the existence of political parties. In 1998 he became the head of the institution supervising the investment market. He died in a car accident in 2000.
