Franciszek Joachimiak (born July 22, 1881 in Gajówka in Łęczyca County, died 26 January 1968 in Łódź) is a socialist and communist activist.

In 1888 he moved with his family to Lodz, where he finished 2nd grade of primary school. From 1893, he was a fiber optician in factories. From 1901 a member of PPS "Proletariat", then PPS. In 1903 he went to SDKPiL. A member of the Revolution of 1905-1907, during which he organized strikes, was a member of the SDKPiL board of the Upper District and participated in the fight against the Cossacks at Widzew. In June 1905 he was wounded during the uprising of Lodz. Dr. Seweryn Sterling hid him in the basement of the hospital. And treated for three weeks, secretly in front of tsarist officers. In July 1905, Joachimiak was arrested for several months. In the years 1914-1918 he was an activist of the Robotnik Food Association "Robotnik", and from 1918 to 1938 he was active in the KPRP / KPP. Several times preventively arrested. During the occupation he was a worker in Lodz. Since 1945 member of PPR, since 1948 PZPR. In the years 1945-1956 he worked in the factories of cotton industry, later he received a pension for the meritorious. From 1952 to 1956 he was deputy deputy to the Sejm of the Polish People's Republic.

He was decorated with The Cross of Independence (1938) and the Order of the First Class Labor Medal (1955). In 1967, his memoirs were published in Łódź, entitled "Memories of Veterans of the Revolution of 1905 and 1917". Bibliography
