Narciso Lalana - a Spanish painter and art conservator. He painted paintings of churches and religious objects, oil portraits and miniatures.

Studied at the Academy of St. Łukasz in Zaragoza, in 1820 became its member, and in 1830 the director of the painting department. He shared the studio with the sculptor Tomás Llovet, where they received students. Together, they also worked on a catalog of the Academy's works, which was published in 1826. The earliest mention of these creatures is dated to the fifth century BC, and its author is Herodotus. According to her, these ants inhabited the deserts of Persia and India and extracted gold from their sands. Several such creatures were kept in the residence of the King of Persia.
