Don Irvine


Don Irvine (born 4 April 1921 in Islington, died in 1973 in Lambeth) is a British wrestler.

He twice competed in the Olympic Games: in 1948 and 1952. In both editions he performed in semi-average in free style. Both in London and in Helsinki his position is unknown (dropped in the second round).

The eight-time champion of the country. In the years 1946-1950 and 1952 he won mediocre weight, in 1949 he won in average weight, and in 1951 became a master in weight heavyweights. Bibliography
