Zofia Domoslawska


Zofia Domoslawska (born 1 June 1898 in Mormolowka near Kiev, died September 25, 1939 in Warsaw) is a Polish physician and sports activist.

She was a sports physician and activist of Polish women's sport in the interwar period. Member of AZS Warsaw. President of the Warsaw Rowing Club. In the years 1927-1939 he was a member of the Scientific Council of Physical Education. From 1937 to 1939 he was a member of the board of the Polish Olympic Committee. She was the author of scientific papers on the impact of competitive sport on women.

In September 1939, she worked in the infirmary of the Infant Jesus Hospital in Warsaw, where she served as commander of the rescue and sanitation center. During one of the bombings she died under the rubble of this facility. She was awarded the Cross of Valor.
