Vladimir Sergeyevich Sieriogin (Russian: Vladimir Snezevich Senigin, born on July 7, 1922 in Moscow, died on March 27, 1968 in the region of Vladimir) - Soviet military airman, Hero of the Soviet Union (1945). During the war, he made about 200 combat flights, fought 19 air fights and shot down three enemy planes. In 1953 he graduated from the Military and Air Engineering Academy Żukowskiego and took a job at the Military and Air Force Experimental Institute as an experimental flyer, in May 1958 he was given the rank of an airman-explorer of the 2nd class, and in 1967 1 class. He was a pilot with an air raid of over 4,000 hours. On March 27, 1968, as a commander of the air regiment, he died in an air accident together with Yuri Gagarin. The urn with his ashes was buried at the Cemetery at the Kremlin Wall. His name was given to streets in Moscow and other cities. Honors
