Sephu


Sephu, also Saephoog (dzong. སྲས་ ཕུག་ ་), is a gewog in Wangdü P'odrang district in the Kingdom of Bhutan. According to the census of 2005, this gewog was inhabited by 2011 people.

Sephu Gewog is divided into 5 smaller units called chiwd. They carry the following names: Booso Zeri, Longtoed, Boommilog, Nakha and Rukoobji. Demography

According to the Bhutan Statistical Office, this gewog is home to 947 men and 1,064 women (data for 2005) in 417 homes. This represented 6.5% of the district population.
