Hermina Szuchewycz
Hermina Szuchewycz (born in 1852 in Przemysl, died in December 1939 in Lviv) is a Ukrainian social activist, wife of Volodymyr Szuchewycz.
Initiator and co-founder of the first Galician Ukrainian women's organizations, including the "Rusinek Club" (1893, the first and longest president) and the "Trud" Women's Industrial Union (1900-1914), the chairmen of the supervisory boards of the "Ukrajinśka zachoronka" for Opiky nad domasznioju prysłuhoju ". Director of the Institute for Girls. St. Olgi in Lviv.
Together with her husband, she organized archeological research at the High Castle in 1887 and the Ukrainian ethnographic part at the Lviv National Exhibition. Bibliography
