Czeslaw Falkiewicz
Czesław Falkiewicz (born September 9, 1904 in Dąbrowice, died 27 January 1962 in Drobin) is a Communist activist.
In his childhood he worked for wealthy hosts, in 1917 he went to work in Germany, from where he returned in 1924, then served in the military and in 1926 he began work in the brickyard in Drobin. Since 1933, a member of the CPP, an activist of brick-and-mortar workers, and since 1934 a radical folk movement. He participated in the 1939 war. During the occupation he was active in the Revolutionary Workers and Peasants Council "Hammer and Sick" and since 1942 in PPR and GL. He organized PPR cells in Drobin commune, in 1944 he was elected to the secretary of the District National Council (PRN) and chairman of the Commune Council of the National Council (GRN) in Drobin; He remained in this post till 1950. After the war he was a municipal agent and took part in the reform of the farm and later in the establishment of agricultural production cooperatives, among others. He founded such a cooperative in Drobin in 1951. For communist activity he was punished by flogging through the anti-communist underground.
