Brook MacDonald


Brook MacDonald (born 25 November 1991) is a New Zealand mountain biker, junior world champion. Career

Brook MacDonald's first career success came in 2009, when he won the junior gold medal at the Canberra World Championships. On the podium of the World Mountain Cycling World Championships for the first time in his career he was on 5 June 2011 in Fort William. He finished third in the Downhill, losing only to Greg Minnaar of South Africa and home team, Danny Hart. The first cup victory came just over a year later - on July 29, 2012 in Val d'Isère, where he beat two British: Gee Atherton and Josh Bryant. He also made his eighth place at the 2012 Leogang World Championships. In 2013 he won the downhill championship in New Zealand. Bibliography
