Bogomil Gjuzel


Bogomil Gjuzel (born February 9, 1939 in Čačak) - Macedonian writer and poet. Curriculum vitae

His work has a reflexive and philosophical character and focuses on existential issues. He often considers the problem of the nature-culture opposition, he subjected the bitter, ironic historical-philosophical view to the history of Macedonia and the myths based on history and religion. He published collections of poems by Medovina (1962), Alhemiska ruža (1963), Mironisnici (1965), Bunar vo vremeto (1972), Trkalo na godinata (1977), Opsada (1981). He is the author of grotesque dramas on biblical topics Adam and Eva i Jov (1970) and Aleksijad (1978). In 1969, he published a volume of essays, Istorija kako maštera (1969).
