Adirondack Thunder

Adirondack Thunder is an American professional ice hockey team based in Glens Falls, ECHL.

It is a club owned by Calgary Sports and Entertainment, owner of NHL Calgary Flames. Adirondack Thunder are the successor of Stockton Thunder. After changing the league structure of the AHL, the Glitter Falls Adirondack Flames were moved to Stockton, the owners of Calgary Flames, not wanting to end their well-publicized partnership with the city, decided to move the Stockton Thunder to Glens Falls by adding to the club's name. The word Adirondack, unofficially referring to the entire region in which Glens Falls is located. Adirondack Thunder will play their first season in ECHL in the 2015-2016 season.
