After graduating from the Officer's Artillery School, he served as deputy battery commander for political affairs. In the following years he was deputy head and head of the political department, deputy head of the Political Board of the Pomeranian Military District.
In 1956-1957 he was deputy commander - head of the Political Board of the Pomeranian Military District, then deputy commander - head of the Political Board of the Aviation Inspectorate and deputy commander - head of the Political Board of the Air Force and OPL OK.
He was also the secretary of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Psychology and Military Sociology. He was recently the secretary of the Council for Social Sciences of the Ministry of Defense.
