John Scott (hockey player)


John Howard Scott (born 26 September 1982 in Edmonton) is a Canadian hockey player. John's IceCaps is part of the American Hockey League (АHL). Previously played in the Minnesota Wild, Chicago Blackhawks, New York Rangers, San Jose Sharks, Buffalo Sabers and Arizona Coyotes belonging to the National Hockey League (NHL). Scott was born in Edmonton, Alberta but grew up in St. Louis. Catharines, Ontario. In 2006 he graduated from Michigan Technological University. Scott gained publicity in January 2016, when he was named captain of the 2016 NHL All-Star Game after the campaign, despite scoring just five goals in his career and only one assist at Coyotes. Despite the transfer to Montreal Canadiens, then to St. Louis. John's IceCaps, part of the Canadian AHL, NHL on January 19, 2016, confirmed that Scott will participate in the 2016 NHL All-StarGame as captain of the Pacific Division. Scott won the All-StarGame MVP.
