Acid jazz
Acid jazz - a style whose main feature is to combine jazz with other genres, especially with such genres as disco, funk, soul and now hip hop.

The greatest interest is blending jazz with hip-hop (US3 and Omar Sosa, which combines elements of Latino jazz with rap), although subspecies like smooth-jazz or nu jazz use soul music (David Sanborn) or bebop. Another group playing on the jazz front is Brooklyn Funk Essentials, a powerful band that could claim to be an orchestra in its number and variety. They combine funk, reggae and rap with elements of jazz improvisation and musical motifs.
