Animal Cells and Systems, an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal, publishes in the field of biology.

This journal was published by the Korean Society for Integrative Biology in 1997 as the Korean Journal of Biological Sciences. In 2005-2007 it was called Integrative Biosciences. Since 2008 it has been released in partnership with Taylor & amp; Francis under the current name six times a year. The topics covered in the various fields of biological sciences include: bioinformatics, systemic biology, developmental biology, evolutionary biology, systematics, ecology, population biology, molecular biology, cytology, neurobiology, physiology and translational medicine.

The impact factor of the magazine in 2014 was 0.440.
