Lydia Jane Wheeler Peirson (born 1802, died 1862) is an American poet. She was born as Lydia Jane Wheeler in Middletown, Connecticut. Her father was a lover of poetry and encouraged her to write poems. When she was 17 years old, she and her family moved to Canandaigua, New York. Two years later she got married. She moved to the Liberty settlement, located in Tioga County, one of the most remote areas of the state of Pennsylvania. She lived in a hut in the woods, five miles from the nearest byway and twenty miles from the store. It became known when Judge Ellis Lewis read her letters. Because of her place of residence, she was called The Forest Minstrel, from the title of her second volume. Bibliography

Dudley Lister
Dudley Lister - English boxer, silver medalist of the 1925 European Championship. In May 1925 he became vice-president of Europe in the heavyweight category. In the semi-finals of the 1925 European Championship he eliminated German nationalist Helmut Siewart, advancing to the finals with Sweden's Brood Persson.
