Joëlle Mélin
Joëlle Mélin (born March 26, 1950 in Versailles) is a French politician, health care worker and self-governor, member of the National Front, Member of the European Parliament for the eighth term. Curriculum vitae
She completed her studies in classical literature, then took up her medical studies, earning doctoral degrees. She has worked in various health care units, in family medicine and rehabilitation, as well as in military hospitals, and has also served as a forensic expert. She joined the National Front, became a close associate of Jean-Marie Le Pen (among others, as an adviser to the presidential campaigns in 2002 and 2007) and then to Marine Le Pen. In 1998, 2004 and 2010, elected from the FN to the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Regional Council.
In 2014 Joëlle Mélin was given the mandate of the 8th MEP.
