Janina Dziukowa


Janina Zofia Dziukowa from the house of Grzymałowska (born 1927, 17 October 2013) - Polish radiologist, prof. PhD, postcolonial radiomaniagnostics oncology in Poland, creator and head of the Department of Radiodiagnostics Center of Oncology - Instytut im. Maria Skłodowska-Curie in Warsaw Ursynów.

She was the daughter of Stanisław Grzymałowski (1893-1968) of the machine and metal industry in Poland.

In 1952 she completed her medical studies at the Jagiellonian University, obtaining a doctor's degree. He received his doctorate in medical sciences in 1961 from the Jagiellonian University on the basis of his dissertation "Radiodiagnostyka lesion of the oropharyngeal area", prepared under the supervision of prof. Janusz Buraczewski, and in 1975 obtained the degree of doctor habilitated.

As an author or editor, she has published "Mammography in the diagnosis of breast cancer", "Oncology in the practice of family physicians", "Operative treatment of oral, jaw and facial cancer", "The role of mammography in the assessment of the safer treatment of breast cancer." < / p>

For 16 years (1982-1997) she headed the Department of Radiodiagnostics of Radiodiagnostics Department of Oncology Center - Instytut im. Maria Skłodowska-Curie, was an Honorary Member of the Polish Medical Radiological Society. In 2012 he was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. Bibliography
