Jan Rafałowicz

Jan Rafałowicz (born 1931 in Łódź, died September 13, 2001) - Polish machine technology specialist, professor at the Technical University of Lodz.

In 1957 he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics of the Technical University of Lodz, where he was employed at the Department of Machine Tools and Machining. He also worked as a constructor at the Szlifierek Factory in Łódź. In 1964 he obtained his doctoral degree, in 1987 he became a professor, and since 1994 he was employed as a professor at the Institute of Machine Tool and Machinery Technology, where he was the director since 1977 to retire.
