Sam Ross
Sam Ross (born June 6, 1901 in Ann Arbor, died September 12, 1980 in Northfield) is an American racing driver. Career
In his career, Ross has been leading the United States in the AAA Championship Car Championship and the famous Indianapolis 500, one of the Grandes Épreuves' races in 1923-1930. In the second season of the race, in 1931 the Indianapolis 500 was ranked 15th. The AAA once stood on the podium. With a score of 180 points was classified in eleventh position in the general classification. A year later, 190 points earned him a 12th place in the final drivers' classification. Bibliography
