In the years 1921-1926 he was the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Telesia Samojedzkiej Council, later chairman of the cooperative "Koczewnik", then the teacher and director of the village school. From 1930 to December 1934 he was the head of the Nenets Regional Department of National Education, and from December 1934 until his death he was the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Nenets Oblast Council.
