Semih Türkdoğan


Ahmet Semih Türkdoğan (born 1912 in Constantinople, May 16, 1994) is a Turkish athlete, Olympian. Player of the club Galatasaray SK.

Participant of the Olympic Games in Amsterdam (1928). In the 100 meters he dropped in the elimination. The 4 × 100 meter relay: Haydar Aşan, Mehmet Ali Aybar, Şinasi Şahingiray and Semih Türkdoğan also dropped out of the qualifying round.

Türkdoğan was a Turkish record holder. He won the title four times (in 1928, 1929, 1932, 1935, every time in Istanbul), 200 meters in one run (in 1931 in Moscow), and in a 4 × 100 meter relay he won five times the country record ( twice in 1927, and in 1928, 1930, and 1931).
