Zenon Gierala (born 1949 in Śniatycze) is a Polish writer, columnist, storyteller, regionalist. He uses the rich knowledge of Polish rituals and folk customs. In the books for youth it combines the adventures of heroes with the facts of Polish history and interesting legends related to cities, castles and historical places. For many years, it has been invited to meetings with authors. with youth.

A graduate of the Rzeszów University of Technology, Postgraduate Studies in Journalism at the University of Warsaw, Postgraduate Studies in Philosophy and Ethics at the Kielce University of Technology. From 1973, he lives in Radom. For many years he taught vocational subjects in the now-defunct Technical School of Agricultural Mechanization in Wacyna.
