Teresa Couderc
Teresa Couderc (born 1 February 1805 in Le Mas, 26 September 1885) is a French Catholic celebrant. Curriculum vitae
She came from a large family. In 1822 she attended St. Joseph in the Vans. In 1825 she joined the Congregation of the Daughters of St. Regis, where she adopted the religious name Teresa. After the perpetual vows, January 6, 1837, the construction of the monastery and the chapel of the congregation took place. When the founder of the building died and his stepmother withdrew the donated financial resources, she gave up the role of mother superior. She was transferred to the Fouviere monastery. In 1875 she sacrificed herself to God, and in 1885 she was chained to bed, from which she never rose again. She died of severe illness at the age of 80 and was buried in La Louvesc. On November 4, 1951, Pius XII beatified her and she was canonized by Paul VI on May 10, 1970.
