Chairman of the Ukrainian Social Democratic Party in Bukovina in the years 1906-1918, editor of its press organ in Bukovina Borba in the years 1908-1914. In the years 1918-1919, he was a member of the National Council of Ukraine on behalf of the National Council of Bukovina.
Participant of the Labor Congress of Ukraine, in the years 1919-1920 the minister of labor in the government of the URL of Boris Martos, Isaak Mazepa and Vyacheslav Prokopovych. On February 11, 1920, arrested by the Polish authorities as a member of the URL government, released after the intervention of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission, he emigrated to Czechoslovakia, lectured at the Ukrainian Economic Academy in Poděbrady. In emigration, he was elected chairman of the Ukrainian Sich Union.
In 1947 he was arrested in the territory of Czechoslovakia by the Soviet services, he was transported to the USSR, and sentenced to the punishment of the gulag. He died in a camp in Kazakhstan. Bibliography
