Vagn Aage Bangsborg (born May 28, 1936 in Slagelse) - road cyclist, silver medalist of the world championship. Career
Vagn Bangsborg's first successful career came in 1962, when Salo, together with Ole Ritter, Mogens Tvilling and Ole Krøy, won the silver medal at the World Championships in time. It was the only medal he won at an international event of that rank. In the same championship he took 49th place in the race of the joint start. In the same competition he also finished 35th in the Karl-Marx-Stadt World Championships two years ago. In 1960 he played in the Olympic team in Rome, but the Danes did not finish the competition. Also in 1957 he won the Danish Stjernet bet, two years later was the best in the Swedish Sex-Dagars, and in 1960 was the fourth in the Peace Race.
