Tree I z Louvain
Albero I of Louvain (born around 1060, died on January 1, 1129) - bishop of Liège from 1123 in the Louvain dynasty. Curriculum vitae
Albero was the son of Henry II, Count Louvain. His brothers were Henry III and Gotfryd VI Bearded, subsequent counts of Louvain and Brabant (Gotfryd from 1106 was the prince of Lower Lorraine). Intended for the priesthood, he became a canon in Metz. After the wormacreordord of 1123, the efforts of his brother Gotfryd were received by Bishop Liège, who had been vacant for two years as a result of disputes between the pope and the emperor. The investor personally gave him the Emperor Henry V. staying in the capital of the diocese. After taking power with the help of his brother, he dealt with the raubritters plowing around Liège. In the course of his peaceful rule, he founded churches and monasteries. Bibliography Authoritative control (person):
