Gerard Meister


Gérard Meister (born 4 September 1889 in Paris, 7 November 1967 in Amiens) is a French swimmer from the early 20th century, a participant in the Olympic Games.

He started the Olympics twice. For the first time during the IV Summer Olympics in London in 1908 he took part in the 100-meter freestyle race. There with an unknown time he fell off in the elimination round. Four years later, during the V Summer Summer Olympics in Stockholm he participated in the same competition. In the elimination race No. 5 with a time of 1: 16.6, he finished fourth and fell out of competition. Meister represented the colors of the Libellule de Paris. Bibliography
