Cezary Duchnowski
Cezary Duchnowski (born 25 February 1971 in Elblag) is a Polish composer and pianist. Lecturer at the Academy of Music in Wroclaw. One of the initiators of the founding of the Computer Composition Studio at the Academy of Music in Wroclaw. Composer of chamber and symphony works. Enthusiast of improvised music - in collaboration with jazz musicians, he participates in the creation of live music. Career
In his youth he played violin, cello, organ, trumpet and piano. Graduated in composition in prof. Leszek Wisłocki at the Academy of Music in Wroclaw, where he later became an academic teacher (he teaches computer music). He co-created the Composite Studio in the alma mater. He works with Agata Zubel, with whom he creates ElettroVoce duet. Together they make projects for voice and electronics. He also developed improvised music. With Paweł Hendrich and Sławomir Kupczak, they formed a group of Phonos ek Mechanes, performing a human-electronics, genre of electronic improvised music, in which computers are controlled by acoustic instruments. Together with Marcin Rupociński he founded the Morphai group. discography
