Zuzanna Orłowska
Zuzanna Orłowska, Zuzanna Szabinówna Charytańska (died after 1583) - the lover of the Polish king Zygmunt II August. Curriculum vitae According to the correspondence of the king of Poland, Zygmunt II August, Zuzanna Orłowska was supposed to be an illegitimate daughter of a Cracow canon, but official sources indicate that her father was Szymon Szabin Charytański. Her relationship with King Zygmunt began after the departure of Queen Catherine Habsburg of Cracow and lasted for seven years. Probably the reason for Zuzanna's separation from the king was her betrayal. After the death of the ruler Zuzanna Orłowska married the Polish nobleman Piotr Bogatka, who in 1589 became the Bialystok starost. In 1583 Piotr Bogatko wrote his wife of 2,400 florins as a luminary. From the marriage of Zuzanna and Peter, four sons were born: Bibliography
