Vsevolod Nikolaevich Ivanov


Vsevolod Nikolaevich Ivanov (Russian: Vostolod Nikolicev Ivvan, born 1912 in Kiev, died October 29, 1950) - Second secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (1945-1949). Curriculum vitae

He studied at the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute, he worked as an assistant lecturer and head of the Research and Research Department of the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute, in 1937 he became the secretary of the Komsomol committee of this institute. From 1931 he belonged to the Polish United Workers' Party (b), from February to October 1940 he was the 2nd secretary of the Kuyvashsk region Komsomol District Committee, from October 1940 to November 1944 the first secretary of the Leningrad Komsomol District Committee, and from October 1944 to May 1945 the secretary of the Komsomol Municipal Committee in Leningrad for propaganda and agitation. From November 29, 1945 to March 29, 1949, he was the second secretary of the Komsomol Central Committee, and from March to November 1949 he was the inspector of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Poland (b.).

On November 4, 1949, he was arrested, on October 28, 1950 he was sentenced to death by the Military College of the Supreme Court of the USSR in connection with the so-called "Leningrad affair" and executed the next day. May 26, 1954 posthumously rehabilitated. Honors Bibliography
