Regrettably perfect

Excellent remorse (Latin contritio) - the pain of sin committed through love of God. It sticks to all sins (even heavier ones) even when it is impossible to enter into confession, even though it presupposes the desire for this sacrament as soon as the occasion arises. This subject was taken by, among others. St. Thomas Aquinas and the Council of Trent. It is the only form of apostasy where one can receive Holy Communion without confession and arouse perfect repentance, and when an opportunity arises, one must proceed to confession in the confessional. Catholics are convinced that they will receive absolution in the confessional. Bibliography
