Metaphysical pause - a collection of essays by Czesław Miłosz published in 1989 by Cracow publishing house Znak. A collection of essays focusing on religious issues and religious views of the world and man, selected from volumes: Family Europe, San Francisco Bay Views, Garden of Science, Private Duties. The poems, poems, and epigraphs from the book Uneducated Land were included in the book. The title text in the form of questions and answers was written by a poet specially for this edition. The selection was prepared by Joanna Gromek. In the 1995 edition, Ireneusz Kani's conversation with Czesław Miłosz on Buddhism was added. The collection contains, among others. sketches: About Catholicism, Catholic Education, Religion and Space, Religions of Zdziechowski, About Hell, How It Should Be in Heaven, The Hustle of Many Religions, and the Chapter in which the author admits to being on the side of the people for lack of something better. >
