Halina Florkowska-Frančić (born 1944) - Polish historian, prof. dr hab. Curriculum vitae

She graduated in 1966. She completed her doctorate in 1974 and her habilitation in 1986. She gained her scientific title in 1998.

He specializes in the history of migration movements, the history of Poles and ethnic relations in Europe. He retired in 2014 as head of the Department of Ethnic Relations in Europe at the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the Jagiellonian University. He is a member of the Committee of Historical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Commission for the Study of the Polish Diaspora and the Ethnographic Commission of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences. She was a member of the Committee for Research on Migration and Polonia at the Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Major publications Bibliography
