Franciszek Krzysztofiak


Franciszek Krzysztofiak pseud. Ginol (born October 6, 1897 in Poznari, died April 15, 1976) - a military officer, laborer, communist activist.

He completed 5 primary school classes and became a construction worker. In 1915 he emigrated to Westphalia, where he worked in the metal industry. In 1916 he was incorporated into the German army and headed for the West Front, leaving in 1918. In 1919 he joined the Polish Army in France, with whom he returned to the country and took part in the Wielkopolska Uprising, and later in the war with Soviet Russia in 1920. He was released to Soviet slavery in 1921, and in 1922 he emigrated to France where he was a metalworker. In 1926 he joined the Polish Language Groups FPK. In 1927 he returned to Poznan and joined the CPP, also acting in the PPS-Left. December 21, 1931 sentenced to 8 months of fortification for communist activity. From 1932 he was a technician in the District of Pomeranian Pomeranian Region, he led the work of Neighborhood Committees (KD) of the CPP in Gniezno and Września. 31 V 1934 arrested under false name Józef Jóźwiński and sentenced to 3 years in prison Wronki, after the release still worked in the Regional Committee (KO) KPP. In 1937 he was again arrested and imprisoned for 15 months in a camp in Bereza Kartuska, where he was secretary of the party cell. During the occupation, he was forced to work in Germany where he was a worker in a brick factory. Upon his return to Poland in 1945, he joined the PPR, V-XI 1946 Secretary of Municipal Committee (PPR) PPR in Piła. 1946-1950 senior inspector of the Special Commission on Fraud and Economic Damage, 1951 auditor in Meat Processing Plant in Poznan; Member of the PZPR Regional Committee Committee for Worker Movement Activists. He took part in the Third Congress of the Polish United Workers' Party in 1959. He was decorated with Order of the Second Class Labor Banner. Bibliography
