Bajdabek Akhtol Tölepbajev (Russian: Байдабек Ахметович Тулепбаев, born October 10, 1921 in Törtköl village, South Ossetia, June 18, 2011 in Almaty) - Soviet and Kazakh communist historian and politician. 1936-1939 a student of the faculty of labor at the Central Asian State University and the Kazakhstan Pedagogical University in Tashkent. High school teacher, 1939-1945 served in the Red Army, participant in the war with Germany, twice wounded, since 1942 in the WKP (b). 1949-1952 instructor of the KC Communist Party of Kazakhstan, assistant secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Poland, 1952-1953 and deputy head of the Party Committee of the CPC Central Committee. 1960-1973 instructor of the Department of Organizational and Party Work of the Central Committee of the CPSU, 1969-1971 senior lecturer of the Academy of Social Sciences at the CPSU Central Committee, 1973-1976 secretary of the KPK Regional Committee in Almaty. From 1967 doctor of history, since 1974 academician of the Academy of Sciences of the SRR, 1976-1984 Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the SRR. From December 1994 I Secretary of the Central Committee of the CCP.
Author of over 200 works, including 9 monographs. Honors
