Alexander Resev
Aleksander Resev (born January 23, 1905 in Tallin, October 24, 1970 in Tallinn) is an Estonian Communist, Estonian Minister for the Interior of the SRR (1944-1951), Major General, Officer of the NKVD. Curriculum vitae
In 1920 he graduated from the town school in Narva, in March 1922 he joined the Independent Socialist Workers Party of Estonia, and in June 1923 to the Labor Party of Estonia. He worked in the factory while selling communist newspapers, from March 1923 to January 1924 he was the secretary of the Tallin metalworkers union. In January 1924 he was arrested, then convicted of "trial 149" for 15 years in prison. After his release in May 1938 he worked at the sickness checkout offices, from November 1938 to May 1940 he was serving in Viljandi and Tallinn. In July 1940 he became secretary of the Central Council of Trade Unions of Estonia, from July 1940 to March 1944 he was the Head of the Organization and Instructing Department of the Communist Party of Estonia. From March 24, 1944 to February 3, 1951, the Estonian National Defense Commissioner / Minister of Interior in the degree of State Security Commissioner; and from July 9, 1945, Major General. In 1949 he graduated secondary school, in 1950 he spent two semesters of the Higher School of Party at KC WKP (b). From October 1952 to June 1953, at the training courses of the senior staff of the MWD USSR, from June 1953 to November 24, 1954, the head of the Military College of the Soviet Union MWD USSR, then fired from the service due to illness.
