Roland Kuhn
Roland Kuhn (born March 4, 1912 in Biel, died October 10, 2005 in Scherzingen) - Swiss psychiatrist, discoverer of the antidepressive properties of imipramine.
Son of the book publisher Ernst Kuhn and Alice née Schneider. He studied medicine in Bern and Paris. He received the title of doctor of medicine in 1937. In 1939 he became an assistant to the psychiatric clinic in Bern. He then worked at the Münsterlingen clinic and ran a private practice in Scherzingen. In 1957 he was habilitated at the University of Zurich. He was the author of nearly two hundred works, he dealt with, among others psychopharmacology, Rorschach test, existential analysis (Daseinanalyse). Authoritative control (person):
