The mission of Interkosmos 10, 340 kg, sent on October 30, 1973 at 20:05 GMT was a comprehensive study of the relationship between the magnetosphere and the Earth's ionosphere. His flight was coordinated with launches of meteorological rockets. The apparatus was constructed by Czechoslovak, German and Soviet specialists. Other socialist states did not participate in this experiment. The parameters that characterize the satellite orbit were: periphery 265 km, apogee 1477 km, circulation period 102 minutes, slope 74 ° orbit. The apparatus operated until June 6, 1974, and the satellite existed until July 1, 1977.
