FRAPH
Front pour l'Avancement et le Progrès Haitien - a paramilitary haitian organization operating in the early 1990s.
The group was founded in 1993. Its leaders were Emmanuel "Toto" Constant, Alphonse Lahens and Mireille Durocher-Bertin. The organization supported the military regime (acting as a death squad) and fought the Lavalas movement, the political wing of the overthrown President Jean-Bertrand Aristide. Most of the members of the militia came from the former political police Tonton Macoute. The leaders of the organization fled the country after the disintegration of the military regime in 1994. They have been sentenced in absentia for political murders.
