Wiktor Griszyn
September 18, 1914 in Sierpcuchów, May 25, 1992 in Moscow) - Soviet politician, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPSU (1971-1986), deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the USSR (Viktor Vasilyevich) 1954-1987), two-time Hero of Socialist Labor (1974 and 1984).
In 1939 he joined the WKP (b), then secretary and later the first secretary of the party committee in Sierpców. From 1952 II, and from 1967 to 1985 First Secretary of the Party Committee in Moscow, 1956-1967 Chairman of the Trade Union Council, from 1952 to 1986 Member of the Central Committee of the CPSU, and 9 April 1971 - 18 II 1986 Political Bureau of the CPSU. From 1954 to 1987 a deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. After Chernienko's death in 1985, he was considered as a candidate for his successor. Honors
