Stanisław Warkocki


Stanisław Warkocki (born 1940 in Poznań, died 4 August 2009 in Kraków) - Polish physicist, dr hab. Eng. prof. Pedagogical Academy in Cracow.

He graduated from the Faculty of Physics at the University of Poznan and then continued his studies at the Military Academy of Technology, specializing in quantum and solid electronics. After graduating in 1967, he retired as a researcher and lecturer in the colonel's council. In 1980 he completed his dissertation, and in 1988 he completed his habilitation. Since 1990 he has been working at the Institute of Pedagogical Science in Cracow. Since 1992 he has been the director of the Institute. It rests in Cracow at Batowicki Cemetery (Prądnik Czerwony).

Stanisław Warkocki specialized in works and articles dealing with the use of semiconductor elemental semiconductors as sensors for ionizing radiation. Bibliography
