René Léonard - French racing driver. Career

In his racing career Léonard has devoted himself to racing in the Grand Prix and racing in sports cars. In the years 1923-1925 the French joined the bid of the 24-hour Le Mans race. Together with André Lagache, he became the first winner of this long-distance race in 1923 with class 3 Chenard & amp; Walcker. In the next two seasons Léonard did not reach the finish line. In 1925, he won another 24-hour race at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. At the Grand Prix, the Frenchman took part in lesser known races. In 1924 he won the Coupe Georges Boillot, and two years later he was the best in the Guipozco Grand Prix. Bibliography
