New American Epic Poem on the Discovery of America by Christopher Columbus - an epic poem published in 1868. Its author was M.D.C. Luby, a former professor of ancient and modern languages ​​at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. The song was released by the Daily Minnesota Volksblatt Print in Saint Paul. The poet dedicated it to his friend, Reverend J.C. Carrierowi. The poem is one of many works about the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus. The work was written in a white line (blank verse), i.e. an unmanned jambic pentameter.
